Group Mat Classes
Oov Pilates
These classes use the Oov, a quirky and highly effective piece of equipment, to help you break free of habitual movement patterns caused by old injuries, stress, and pain. Feedback from the Oov will allow you to self assess and retrain unconscious patterns that are holding you back from your full movement potential. This piece of equipment helps to align your nervous system with motor control, making it a powerful tool whether you are seeking an extra athletic edge or relief from nagging chronic pain and stiffness.
Gentle Pilates
Gentle Pilates classes concentrate on building strength, flexibility, and coordination though low-intensity exercises. The classes are fun, supportive, and safe for all bodies.
Feldenkrais®
Based on principles of physics, biomechanics, martial arts, and human development, the Feldenkrais Method® is an approach that uses innovative movements designed to expand awareness and help you reconnect to your natural ability to move with ease. Gentle exercises awaken you to better ways of living in your body, resulting in better posture, improved balance, less pain, and more flexibility.
Breathwork
Come explore how breathwork can help you recenter, refocus and renew your energy in this experiential class. We will be using tools for myofascial release, exploring breath mechanics and learning how to use breath to help regulate our nervous systems. Come away feeling ready and energized for the rest of your day!
GYROKINESIS®
Gyrokinesis® is a movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences. Each class will explore movement sequences that will enhance spinal mobility and increase core strength and coordination.
All Levels Pilates
Each class will be a fresh take on building the strength, flexibility, and coordination you need to move through your life with ease. These group classes will rely on the tried and true principles necessary for awakening your body and moving smarter. Experienced movers, this class is for you. Class content will be tailored to the students that arrive in each class, so what are you waiting for? Come see what adventure awaits in each weekly class. Your body will thank you.
Mobility & Myofascial Release
Don't let the activities you love leave your body creaking, groaning, or injured. Class will warm up with progressive moves based on planks, lunges, and squats. The movements are low impact but this does NOT mean low intensity. You will spend half the class building strength and challenging your mobility in a total body workout. The second half of class eases into a guided myofascial release using tennis balls and rollers to decrease tension in your body and leave you loose, limber, and ready for your next adventure.
Standing Pilates and Weights
Drawing on a fusion of Pilates and ballet, these classes focus on low impact, high repetition movements to strengthen and tone your whole body. The barre will support you as you move through beginner-friendly choreography designed to playfully challenge your balance and coordination. Come move your body in a new way!
Walk Strong: Gait, Balance & Footwork
Come explore foot strength and dexterity, walking gait, and dynamic balance in this focused class. We will be standing for most of each class, while we learn key principles to improve posture, build healthy movement patterns, and integrate core strength with our normal walking gait. This class is safe for all levels.
NIA (Neurointermuscular Action)
A long name for a simple way of feeling good in your body. We will be moving to spectacular music using Healing Arts such as Yoga, Feldenkrais, and Alexander Technique, Martial Arts such as Taekwondo, Aikido and Tai chi, and Dance Arts such as Jazz, Modern dance and Duncan dance. If you are interested in improving Balance, Posture, Coordination in a gentle fun way please come give Nia a try. Suitable for Every Body.
Power Mat Pilates
Power Pilates is a high-energy class that turns up the intensity and challenge of your mat practice with more advanced exercises and a faster flow. With a focus on core strength, coordination, functional conditioning, and full-body movement integration, this class builds balanced strength, mobility, and resilience throughout the body. You will leave feeling energized after a full-body burn.
Tai Chi Strength & Stability
In this flow class, learning to play with gravity. This 50 min class is a story through music, centering with breath, finding balance and strength in slow movements. Using the Art of Tai chi creates a relaxed presence, allowing confidence in uneven ground, physically and emotionally.
Yoga Classes
Felt Sense Flow Yoga
Felt Sense Flow Yoga is an all-levels class that blends principles of somatic experiencing with functional alignment to help you connect with your body from the inside out. With a focus on mindful breathwork, intentional sequencing, and alignment, you will notice subtle shifts in your body, release stored tension, and move with greater ease. You will leave feeling more connected, grounded, and at home in your body.
Small Group Reformer Classes & Private Sessions
REFORMER CLASSES
In these small, customized classes, your skilled instructor will use the Pilates Reformer machine to take you through a range of movements to challenge your strength, flexibility, and mind/body connection. Limited class sizes mean more individual attention and honest encouragement. We apply functional fitness, myofascial release, and mobility work with overall core conditioning to aid awareness, help you move better, and transform your body. Accountability and commitment will boost your confidence and improve skills that carry into everyday living.
Single class drop-ins allowed for our Essentials Reformer classes (Beginners welcome) or for all classes with prior Reformer experience. If you would like to gain the necessary experience for joining single class drop-in sessions, please sign up for a minimum of 3 Essentials Reformer classes or email admin@awakebodies.com to schedule a private session.

Essentials Reformer Pilates
The Essentials Reformer Pilates Class for all students who are new to the Reformer or looking for a refresh after a long break from practicing. We’ll start with the fundamentals–including an overview of the Reformer equipment and important safety information–and move to beginning exercises with a focus on proper form, alignment, and breathing. Classes will move at a steady, supportive pace with clear instruction, time for questions, and modifications as needed. You will leave feeling stronger, more energized, and ready to join any ongoing All Levels Reformer or Mindful Align Reformer classes at Awake Bodies. We require a minimum of 3 Essentials classes before joining our regular classes.
Creative Flow Reformer Pilates
Creative Flow Reformer Pilates is open to all students with Reformer experience. This mixed-level, intermediate class focuses on everything from the fundamentals to more challenging, dynamic sequences to meet students where they are. With a focus on alignment, breath, and coordination, this class provides students with options for modifications and progressions so you can choose the exercise variation that is best for you. Whether you’re newer to the Reformer or deepening an established practice, you will leave feeling stronger, more aligned, lengthened, and energized.

Mindful Align Reformer Pilates
Mindful Align Reformer Pilates offers a gentle approach for all students, including those with osteoporosis, recovering from injury, and newer to the reformer. With a focus on Pilates fundamentals: control, mobility, strength, and breath, this class is designed to restore balance, improve alignment, and prevent injuries. Modifications are always available if needed. You will leave feeling more centered, lengthened, and energized from a full-body movement experience.

Jumpboard
Pilates Jumpboard classes offer energizing, low-impact cardio fused with the Pilates repitoire you love. These classes use the Reformer’s jumpboard attachment to deliver a safe, rhythmic, plyometric-style workout that builds cardiovascular fitness, power, leg strength, and core stability while preserving joint health.
All levels with reformer experience (beginner-friendly progressions to advanced variations) are invited to join these classes. Ideal for Pilates practitioners wanting to add cardio and athletes seeking low-impact plyometrics.
*Not ideal for Pregnant clients or anyone with an acute injury.

Get the most from your workout and accelerate your training with our private sessions. Our knowledgeable instructors will help you create a goal-oriented plan tailored to your age and fitness level. We will work with you to develop and maintain a successful routine for redirecting a movement pattern, fitness growth, injury, or prenatal/postpartum wellbeing.
Prenatal & Postpartum Focus
Pilates is the perfect way to prepare expecting mothers for delivery and aid in childbirth recovery. Training can be tailored for any stage of pregnancy. After delivery, Pilates can help recover pelvic strength. Ask your doctor if this is right for you.
Kinstretch & Functional Range Conditioning
Range of motion is a vital part of healthy living. Too much range without the strength to control it or a lack of range can both be detrimental to your joints and surrounding tissue. This work can be beneficial for everyone ranging from hyper-mobile to non-mobile. Our fully certified coach can assess your joints and guide you as you gain more control and increase your active range of motion.
